Lounge operator Collinson has enhanced its partnership with Singapore Airlines to provide businesses in the carrier’s HighFlyer programme with access to LoungeKey Pass.

HighFlyer is Singapore Airlines’ business travel reward programme, offering businesses preferential airfares and the option to earn HighFlyer points when their employees travel for work. These points can then be used for future travel or to access rewards – including the new LoungeKey Pass benefit.

Collinson’s LoungeKey Pass is a digital voucher which can be used to gain access to an airport lounge or a travel experience without a membership, registration or physical card.

Businesses across the four membership tiers of SIA’s HighFlyer programme will now be able to redeem a LoungeKey Pass for every 8,000 HighFlyer points earned on the company account.

These businesses can then reward individual employees with the pass via their HighFlyer account, granting them access to over 1,500 airport lounges and travel experiences (such as spa and sleep pods or dining offerings) in 145 countries. This includes the pictured Marhaba Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport’s Terminal 3.

New businesses that sign up to the HighFlyer programme can also redeem a pass as a reward, provided that they meet a threshold of net flown expenditure.

Todd Handcock, global chief commercial officer and Asia Pacific president of Collinson International, commented:

“Global business travel spend is expected to surpass 2019 levels this year, resulting in many employees taking to the skies on behalf of their organisations. Our research has shown that consumers today place a high-value on travel-related benefits and rewards. In turn, providing access to airport lounges and travel experiences as part of a wider corporate travel proposition is an ideal way to support the well-being of business travellers; helping them to feel supported and valued by their employer while on the road.”

Collinson recently published research showing that British travellers spend between £300-£350 in airport departure terminals annually.
