Our clients always have a really hard time finding rooms in this area. Having said that, Aberdeen itself has some fabulous places to stay. We're based outside the city (about 30 mins) and hotel rooms are definitely difficult to find. We've recently worked with a golf course and luxury apartments client who is undecided whether to open up to the business traveller.
The company is Inchmarlo and they're in Banchory about 30 mins from Aberdeen, and similar from the airport. The apartments are really nice and we've already had some of our clients stay there - one of whom is thinking of taking up an extended stay.
I'd be interested, on Inchmarlo's behalf, in finding out whether any seasoned travellers out there would consider a place like Inchmarlo.
