Hyatt has acquired the me and all hotels brand from Germany’s Lindner Hotel Group.

Hyatt already has an “exclusive collaboration agreement” in place with the family-run Lindner, and last year more than 30 properties joined the World of Hyatt programme.

This included Lindner’s six existing me and all hotels in Dusseldorf, Hanover, Kiel, Mainz and Ulm, which were initially marketed under the JdV by Hyatt brand.

Following the acquisition, me and all hotels will now sit as a standalone brand within Hyatt’s lifestyle portfolio.

A 223-room me and all hotel is set to open in Berlin’s Friedrichshain district later this year, followed by properties in Hamburg, Leipzig and Stuttgart in 2026, and Hyatt said that it had “additional development deals in various stages of negotiation for destinations outside of Germany”.

Last month the group announced it currently has a pipeline of just under 130,000 rooms – a record figure and up nearly 85 per cent since 2017.

Commenting on the news Felicity Black-Roberts, SVP development EAME, Hyatt, said:

“The Lindner team has built an incredible brand with me and all hotels, and we believe the brand has great potential for expansion across Europe and other global markets.

“Our collaboration with Lindner was a significant step forward for our distribution in the EAME region, expanding our brand footprint and offering many new locations to our 46 million World of Hyatt members.

“We look forward to driving further growth for Hyatt’s lifestyle portfolio with me and all hotels – together with Lindner as well as other development partners and franchisees, across Europe and beyond.”

The news follows the recent agreement between IHG Hotels and Resorts and Germany’s NOVUM Hospitality, which will see IHG double its presence in the country to more than 200 hotels in almost 100 cities.
